Systemic Lupus Erythematosus  Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic autoimmune disease that is complex and has a relapsing-remitting course. The disease is caused by a disturbed immune regulation that leads to an exaggerated production of auto-antibodies that attack tissue and organs throughout the body. However, even though the disease's aetiology is unknown and the processes underlying its development have not yet been identified, a number of genetic, hormonal, and environmental factors can combine to induce SLE development. Both normal variations in several genes and anomalies in a single gene can affect the risk of developing SLE. Hormonal involvement in the development of SLE has been linked to older, female patients who are primarily of reproductive age. This condition may also be brought on by           a number of environmental factors, s...

The role of artificial intelligence in nursing(2nd part) / دور الذكاء الاصطناعي في التمريض ( الجزء الثاني ) (بالانجليزية والعربية)

The role of artificial intelligence in nursing Patient monitoring:  Artificial intelligence (AI) is being used in nursing for remote patient monitoring (RPM), which connects sensors and equipment to patients. The key stages of RPM are to gather patient data and the data collection, transport, and storage in the cloud for analysis. This technology is used to manage chronic diseases, fall detection , and mental health disorders. As well as to monitor cardiac arrhythmias, hemodynamic, vital signs, and offer guidance. For patients with cardiac illness, wearable sensors can track their heart rate, ECG, and breathing rate. For the elderly, wearable and ambient sensor-based fall detection devices are essential. Mental health systems advise patients to take their medications and to monitor adherence, while diabetes monitoring systems track blood glucose levels, food...

Artificial intelligence(1st part) / الذكاء الاصطناعي ( الجزء الأول ) (بالانجليزية والعربية)

Artificial intelligence (AI) is poised to revolutionize nursing practice in various areas such as administration, clinical care, education, policy, and research. It is seen as a valuable tool that can help nurses in synthesizing information quickly, making clinical decisions, enhancing the delivery of care, and ultimately improving patient outcomes. By combining these solutions and educating nurses on how to effectively utilize them, there are endless possibilities for enhancing efficiency, capacity, quality, and transforming healthcare in the future. Therefore, it is crucial for nurses to actively involved in the development and application of AI. In healthcare AI is defined as the ability of machines to perform intelligent human tasks like problem-solving and reasoning. It typically involves software programs that analyse data from multiple sources and turn data into knowledge to g...
